Hang-on-bank Refugiums?

Does anyone have any experience with hang-on-back refugiums? I was looking to put the CPR skimmer/fuge combo on my 10 gallon nano. Will this help my system stabalize? Does anyone suggest these? Would anyone agrue there not worth the money? Thanks.

I would suggest not putting and pennies in your 'hang on BANK refugium' as the copper may be harmfull.

I would argue that any size fuge is never a bad idea. I have no personal experience with the manufactured HOB fuges, but I did build my own, which worked pretty well. (for pods and extra lr only tho, no macro)

yeah. I built my own and put a pc light above it on my 10 gal. I grew cheato like crazy!
Like Chock said, any more water and LR you can get into the sytem, the better off you'll be.

For less than youll spend on that CPR you could add another 10 gallon as a refugium and double your water volume.
