The heartbreak of aptasia continues. Even injecting with concentrated hydrochloric acid hasn't got rid of them -- they just regenerate. My pepermint shrimps prefer to munch down zooanthids, and I don't have room for a chelmon.
Any other ideas? They are taking over. If I try starving the tank the fish look anorexic.
Someone just handed me something called "Joe's juice." Being a chemist, the idea of putting something in my aquarium that I can't identify disturbs me. Does anyone know what is in it, whether it works, and what side effects it might have (eg on bubble tipped anemones in the tank)?
