I have an LTA that wasnt in such great shape when i got it a while ago. The tentacles would never fully extend or look full and the foot was never able to hold on to anything. The foot isnt perforated and there isnt any visable damage to it. Since i got it the tentacles extend alot better and look fuller. Color is also spreading from the top down, (when i got it the only color was on the tips..)
Now the thing is, is it possible to fix the problem with the LTA's foot or is it permantantly damaged? Could it heal and its just taking the longest to do so?

If there's no visible damage, what 'healing' are you expecting?

BTW, Macrodactyla doreensis (LTA) prefer sand substrates, so 'holding on to anything' is not a critical issue for this anemone.

Im really just expecting it to be able to grasp on to things. I know that M. doreensis prefer sand substrates rather than being on a rock, but i think this one is an H. crispa

This is the best a pic i could get...
