Last night I noticed that there were little dark spots all over my cup coral... I could only see them when the tissue was retracted after a cleaning. Upon further inspection I noticed that they MOVED! They had little white stripes down their back, and seemed to be in great numbers. FLATWORMS on my cup coral!
After consulting TRA from Sprung I decided to do a FWD of about 8 secs. So...I made a lil' water took my coral out.. swished it around in there for a few moments and EVERY FLATWORM floated off! If you've ever needed to get rid of flatworms on a particular coral THIS WORKS. Of course I'm waiting to see if my cup coral will open back up today haha. Hopefully it will be much happier since the flat worms are gone.
I haven't noticed the worms on anything else. I just introduced the coral a few days ago, so hopefully they were only on it.
