I have a 4foot x 2 foot x 2 foot 120 g tank. It is setup against a foundation wall with the beams running parralel to the 4 foot length of the tank. Our construction is laminated i beam floor joists and 4 years old. Should there be any issues with the floors and joists bearing the weight?

Do you know how many beams run under your tank?
If it is only one I would reinforce it, JMHO.

It is 1 right under the middle of the tank and the outside foundation wall which the tank is up against that wall.

How do you suggest reinforcing it?

Actually I wrong, there appears to be 2 beams in parrallel, one about 8-10 inches from the outside foundation wall and then another about 8-10 inches from that, and then they are the standard 16-18 inches apart...the tank is right up against the wall (3-4 inches from it) and near the one side of the tank is the structure laminated beam (4-5 inches by a foot in diameter) that spans the structure in the other direction.

THe only thing that got me concerned is a slight creak in the floor in a couple of small spots.

Beams should be no less then 16" apart on center, which is the standard for walls. I'd think a floow would be more like 10" but I'm no builder so...

If a 4 year old house can't suppot a 120 you have bigger issues...

I don't exactly follow what you mean...
