Is this possible? PC lighting question.

I have a dual smartlights PC ballast (96watt X 2). Is it possible to run 55watt or 65watt PC bulbs on this ballast? Will this damage the ballast or bulbs?

It is not advisable to run 55 or 65 on a 96 watt ballast. If it's the same pin-out, it will work. But keep in mind you are driving the bulb 33+% harder then it's rated specification. Basically, run at your own risk. UL would definitely not approve
