sponges touching corals okay?

i have some sponges that are growing on my live rock and it is getting close some acropora on one side and a brain coral on the other side. are they dangerous to corals?

Depends on the sponge. IME, most sponges won't harm corals when they come in contact with them. I often have sponges growing on the underside of colonies.

i have what i think is a sponge on the one side of my live rock. its a light blue color. is this a sponge?
