Anyone know where to get them or how to take care of them? I'm finding many species, but no practical information about them. Um, err, specifically the types that live submerged in shallow waters.

Are you looking for info on the really long, thick blades or stuff more like Turtle grass (looks like lawn grass)?

Let me move this to the GRD. These macros can get tricky ;)

Mrrmm, I thought 'turtle grass' was slang for hair algae?

As for lawn grass . . . maybe St. Augustine but not Zoysia. ;) Umm, 8-14" in length, blades 0.25-0.75" wide? Either blading like a leek or branching like a tree.

I have shoal grass, which is long thin grass, thinner then turtle if IIRC, you need a good sandbed for the roots to dig into, but other than that, light and some current and you're set.

This stuff? How do you define 'good sandbed?' And, btw, thanks for getting me another common name. Googling that got me a supplier whereas sci. names got me zip.
