Help me choose my last fish

I have a 55 gallon reef tank with a male lyretail anthias, orchid dottyback, and yellowtail blue damsel. I had a yelllow watchman goby in the tank but he did not like the anthias......thus he hid all the time and did not eat. I removed him from the tank last night and was wondering what other fish would do well in this mix. I have been told that blennies, other gobies and fairy wrasses are not good choices. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks..........

How about a clown? They come in some great colors and there is a variety of temprements available.

Thanks for the reply I have two clarki's in my 29 gallon anemone tank and just love them. Never thought about a clown for my 55. I wonder which one would be good with the fish already in my 55......any suggestions?

A fairy wrasse (any species) is a good choice if your tank is covered. I love these fish and would recommend it as your last fish if you can prevent it from jumping out.

Or a six line. Not so prone to jump out in my experience, and as intersesting a fish is as out there IMHO. I know that almost everyone has one, but they are a great addition to any tank. AND they are usually not that expensive either

As far as clowns go, I love my pair of A. ocellaris. I know but it's very common, but if you don't mind that it's a fish to consider.

I have to agree with Len. I love my ruby headed fairy wrasse. He mixes well with the other fish I have and doesn't fight at all with my six line wrasse. If I had to pick I would go with something slightly bigger like a dwarf angel or even a small tang. *some species will have to be removed once they reach size*

Potters are so sick and they have a good "noncoral abuse" temperment
I have no experience with flame angels but my coral beauty behaved nicely while I had him.

I love ocellaris and fairy wrasses. Fairy wrasses are a tad on the spendy side, but they are gorgeous fish.

For personality, IMO, few things beat clownfish.

The wrasses I like generally start at 90$ and go up from there...

Scott's Fairy Wrasse, Mystery Wrasse.. and chip's favorite, the Labouti fairy wrasse..

$21 for a fairy wrasse. Wow. I paid $45 for my Scott's. Beautiful fish, but as mentioned, you need a lid on the tank.

I think a fairy wrasse is a great idea.

My tomato clown has lots of personality, but is aggressive with the other tank mates. It will even attack my hand. I think the ocellaris is a great clown.
