ok so i thought id be adventurous and build my own stand, however when i put tank on stand theres a 1/8 of in inch "rock" to the tank, it seems the 2x4s seem a bit warped. do i rebuild or can i abosorb this with a piece of foam or something between the tank and the stand.... suggestions???

So the tank is rocking on the stand? Gosh, I don't know if foam would be enough for that, I would really want there to be even pressure all around the frame of the tank.

But here's a bump for you, maybe somebody has gone through this before.

You've probably already done whatever you are going to do, but I vote for leveling the stand now while you can.

The weight of the water will probably get rid of the "rock". But I can't stand having my tank off balance.

just a follow up for those that replied, (thanks again) but i ended up getting a pine plank and cutting it down to the size of my tank, its 1 inch thick and now theres no more rocking
