does this tank have a distortion when viewing or is it clear. SOme pictures i have seen look kinda like that may be the case? Anyone have any upfront comments? What about bowfronts? same thing?

Most bow front glass tanks are clear when viewed at a certain angle, but distorted when looked at from a different angle...bet that answered your question :lol:. I have a 72 AGA bow and taking pictures is a challenge because of the inherent distortion of the glass.
Look at it straight ahead, it looks fine but if you try and look at it on a shallow angle up close to the front glass (like from the right side front of the glass to the left side front glass) it's like a fun house mirror. For the most part it really isn't a problem though and O like the extra floor space a bow provides. Never had an acrylic bow so I can't comment on those.
