Where to go in LA area

I've got one day in the LA area and need an aquarium to visit. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the response Len but I'm more looking for a public aquarium that I can drag the family to and take some pictures maybe.

I assume there's one in the area but don't know where.

I found the Aquarium of the Pacific at http://www.aquariumofpacific.org and that's where I'll be going unless someone has a better place.

No very close, but there is a place in Diana Point (Orange County) that *may* interest you. Not better than AOP, but if you ran out of places to go, stop by and see what they have there right now (Ocean Institute?)
