Wash my hands with soap before and dry real well. If I'm going to be touching rocks I put on a glove. I'm going to buy those arm length gloves in the future...once I stop purchasing corals :D

If I've been using nasty chemicals for some reason, I wait until the next day after my shower to work on the tank.

I pause and think if I touched any chemicals since my last shower. If not, it goes right in. Then gets washed (mainly for the salt).

I take a shower every morning! ;) (actually I don't always take one on Saturday!) :lol:

Unless I've gotten into something nasty I don't specifically wash before or after I get into the tank. I have some special rusty tools that I use for the tank. A rake for the refugium, hammer and chisel for fragging, etc.

I guess having 1,500+ gallons in my system makes up for my shortcomings.
