Can someone tell me what his is? It's been growing on my live rock for a while now. Thanks

I have the same thing and I was told they are forminiferans. They are a form of sponge. Mine took off like a shot once I put the rocks in the tank. Since then they have receded a bit and are not growing anymore. Nothing to worry about. If you look in the Hitch Hiker FAQ forum there is pics of them and a brief description.

Well no. Foraminiferans are member of the Family Protozoa, Phylum Sarcodina. Sponges are of the Phylum Porifera.
That looks like Porifera (sponge).
