Skimmer stopped Skimming?

My turbo flotor has been running for 6 months now and all of the sudden I come home and the churning you usually see inside the protein skimmer has stopped. There is still water running through the skimmer though. It is actually more GPH than before. I really need my skimmer to work, so please help..

Drop the air intake into a cup of hot fresh water. It should clear out what's clogged. You may have to blow into the tube first if it is totally obstructed.

Sounds like it needs a good cleaning. If the hot water does not work you may need to take the whole thing out and use some diluted vineger. 1:1 mix should be fine.
