If someone had to pick between the Red Sea Wavemaker and the Reef Fanatic Wavemaker, which one would you get? Or if there is another brand in the 100 to 140 dollar range, give me a recommendation. I planned on hooking up a couple of seio 820's to one in my 120.
the red sea jobby I had had 4 different modes, rapid pulse, intermittant pulse, etc...can't recall all of them off hand, but I think one of the modes was pretty adequate for a reef.
There's alway the Tunzes, but they ain't cheap, m'brother.
yeah, I would love to slap a 6060 on there but not until I upgrade to a 300, and if the seios hold up under the start/stop strain...maybe I'll just keep them
nutz I have had rio's last me 6-8 years and never any nuke anything, but we'll just have to see on the wavemaker pressure, this is a newer design
According to Tunze, the streams are NOT to be run on a regular wavemaker. Per Tunze, they should not be turned on/off more frequently than once per hour.
