Just posted some updated shoots of the Banggai Cardinal fry I'm raising in my nano thread, but thought I'd post them topside as well to show how much they have grown.

A better camera is on my wish list though ;)

 Good question Waz! I started out with '20' or so, I'm not really sure. I didn't really count them when I swooped them up out of the bucket during the tank move. I just netted what I could as it was kind of hectic at the time (dad spit them out when I was moving the pair from my 72 to the new 120).

When I thought to count them when things quieted down, there was 17 in the 6 gallon nano I put them in and I haven't lost one since. That's thanks to Guy's advice about feeding them I'm sure. I was lucky to have cyclopeeze and brine shrimp eggs to hatch out.

I'll take a few for my 300G once it's ready. ;)

Cool fish. I'd really like some captive breed Bangia's. Haven't had any luck with wild caught ones.

They look incredible in that Nano.

I wish you were closer. I'm at the point in my breeding that I need some more genetic diversity and I'd rather not even attempt getting wild caught fish. Most of the Banggai in this area are from my basement so that wouldn't be useful either.

There's a guy in our local reef club whose male is carrying eggs right now. His last batch didn't make it. Dad got sick of carrying them I guess. I'm waiting patiently. :D I hope you can find good homes for all of yours.
