I just got my newest "Freshwater and Marine Aquarium" magazine and its for the month of October... :? Why so early? The funny thing is that my subscription expired in June.. :D

Someone needs to be fired over there...

Look at your old issues, you'll have a few months missing. There is a change of ownership or something... they sent something explaning it but I lost the note. And yes, they put out "future" months like that so that they remain fresher on the shelf i guess.

They have been bought out by Bowtie publications the same publisher that produces another aquarium mag. So basically it took a while for the buy-out so they are sending subscribers the missing months issues to give them what they paid for.

Ahh, that explains a lot... :)

Whats another good aquarium mag that has marine and reef info in it? Besides the annual Reef Magazine...

and best of all that one is free! :)

I also like the online one at the "other site" too but I won't mention any names since dont want to stir up the hornets nest :)

Basically anything with lots of pretty pictures, some good explainations for projects and some indepth discussions on fish/inverts/whatever and I'm happy :) Although some of those "experts" tend to forget they're communicating with people that don't have PhDs in Marine Biology
