I just saw furry crab moving on my live rock. At first it looked like a sponge scrunched up. It is about the size a quarter and is light grey. the legs and everything were covered with fuzz or short hair. It was short and stocky kind of like an Emerald Crab. I will be searching the web For it ID but thought that someone may able to point me in good direction. Somthing has eaten Half of my Orange Cup Coral (I removed all Blue Hermits) But now my Green Button polyps are dissapearing. Yellow Tang and Scalet Hermits are the only residents now.

It's prolly a stone crab...they are a common hitchiker on LR. They're omnivores, and I have seen them eat snails.

I'm not sure what's eating your cup coral and polyps...I don't think I've heard of stone crabs eating corals...hopefully others will weigh in on this.

My emeralds are covered with fuzz all over their legs, except the front 2 claws. I cant even see any of their legs there is so much fuzz.It could stil be an emerald too. And when they are small, they dont seem to have the emerald color yet as vivid.
just a thought
