I find it odd that you are having so much trouble with heat in your tank. i have a 90 with a 30 sump and my tank runs at 80-81 depending on whether i run the a/c or not. on days were the temp gets above 85 i set the a/c in the house to 76 and my tank stays at 79-80. but on days less than 86 degrees i keep the windows open and the fans and chiller take care of the tank. the chiller may kick on about three times a day the most cause the fans do allot of the cooling. i have four 3" fans in the canopy, two kick on when the vho come on and the other two come on when the mh lights kick on. i also have a fan on the sump that stays on all the time. i would say use fans to increase water evap and if you keep your house at 76 degrees you should have no problems with the tank overheating but seriously add fans they do work great. hope this helps
