ok so my tank is about a year old and hte water is turning green, i have green on the sandbed and green on the walls, its not slimy more like coraline alge but every day i have to scrape it off, my water is good nothing out of spec, temp is 77-80, night day, and the purple corline is active but the green is like out of this world and its turning my water green, light cycle is PC on for 11 hours with MH on for abou 9.5 hours in the middle of hte day, any ideas? makes take look really crapy...

You can try checking your phosphates.

Do you overfeed maybe? Sounds like too maybe much nutrient in the tank.

Have a protein skimmer?

If your water is discolored running some carbon usually does the trick.

i do about 25% a month water changes usually 10 gallons at a time every other week and the skimmer is skimming.... no idea but its not pretty i will take a pic, i cleaned it up yesterday so .... this is idea of how fast this is going

I second the carbon. Green water is not bad to fish and corals as long as the water is kept at proper nutrient levels. I do understand it is not nice to look at.
