I would like to build a 90 gallon In-wall system. I consulted my LFR.
1- goal is to keep it under $1000
I will build closet in my laundry room. (any advise on closet demensions is welcome). I considering 78"L x 42"W floor to ceiling.
ARE THERE ANY CONCERNS WITH CUTTING STUDS? (REINFORCEMENT)?
The prescription for set-up by LFR (Somthing Fish, MN).
Tank 90 Gal with overflow All Glass $299.
Holes drilled for $15 Each.
Lighting Coralife Lunar 48" 4 65W = $260.
Pump Turbosea 790 = $240.
Skimmer options, euroreef, turbo floater ($259) or Superskimmer ($209).
Sump= $249
Total = 1337
I have a 55 & 30 Gal which can be used for sump.

Is this Recommendation Ok?(Brand, Quality and price)
Could I Reduce My Cost Without Sacrificing much quality?
Any Warnings drawn Experience?

Hi,

what are your plans/goals with the system?

you should be able to buy a tank with an overflow... or are you talking about additonal holes? (closed loops...etc)

skimmer: out of those three skimmers... go with euroreef or ASM skimmer (euroreef copy) here is the site http://www.asmskimmer.com

lighting: you haven't mentioned what type of corals you are gonna keep.... if any... please afdvise us so that we provide better advise... (since you are doing an inwall, you can piece together a lighting system and get more bang for your buck... )

pump: never used a turbosea... can u compare it to any other pumps on the market... ?

flow??? are you only using the return pump for flow? do you plan on using powerheads?

what are your plans/goals with the system?

Review you budget. For $1000 you will have a hard time getting an adaquate system for a 90 gal tank.
