I've seen it on shelves at the LFS. Haven't used it. Scary, if you ask me. Ichthyopthirius? WTF?
It is quite concentrated, too, as I recall. Like one drop per 25 gallons, or something. Supposedly reef safe. I am not about to test it on my reefs in order to give you guys answers, though :lol:
If you are going to use it in a q-tank, then there are other meds that are far cheaper. I do not see the point of this medication, as yet.
If tested, and it is reef safe (or, as reef safe as any med available) then I suppose there will be a use for it. Reef safe products like Ecolibrium, etc, are extremely expensive, and people with large tanks are spending a fortune treating reefs for ich infested fish.
Quarantine practices aside, **** still happens.
