Today was. I got 5 female Lyretail Anthias' and one male from DF&S. They all look healthy and happy. And they are alot more colorful than I imagined they would be :D

When we got Acropora cervicornis, one of the jewels of the Caribbean. Little did I know it was going to become a ridiculous weed, and at one point, almost take over an entire tank.

I'm not foolish enough to think I'll ever get a chance to try Acropora palmata.

The day/week i received via FedEx 1 male and 2 female Squarespot anthias - when they began eating and actually survived. They are now 3 years old.

Pretty pic, Susan!

I don't think I have a happiest moment...I just love coming home from work and watching the interaction in the tank. Relaxes me something wonderful, too.

The day I first noticed a self-seeded colony of my pocillipora in my tank. Of course I didn't know then that the P. damicornis is the most likely stony to do this and I've since realised that it doesn't take much for them to seed and grow (I have something like 12 small colonies growing on LR I took from my main tank in my nano under something like 36W NO).

Still, it felt really good at the time. :)

The day I brought home my baby purple tang. The thought of watching this fish grow and thrive under my care for the next 16+ years is way cool :D Her name is Nori.

When my 9 and 5 year olds said "thank you daddy" when the tank was all set up...and everytime after that day when we go to the aquarium together to add something, bringing it home, and watching them enjoy the tank.

Makes the effort worth it.

Finding baby bangaii's in my overflow box.

Picking up a rock and having a 2 foot long eunicid worm, fangs and all drop out.

Having people come by to visit and end up spending 2 hours staring at the tank in amazement , asking me a zillion questions.

Thanks Chris. This fish is the reason I haven't OD'd on the hobby yet. I just love turning the room lights off and sitting/staring at the tank.
