Acropora Insignis

I had never heard of this particular type of acropora until I bought this piece for $59.00 at a LFS (Ocean Environments in Naples).

I love it. $59 for a small colony isn't bad either

Nice! I always thought the A. insignis shared a similar color pattern as the Crayola Table. Is it just a solid blue?

It is actually a real nice color of green with blue tips. I have never seen this color combination before that I can recall. I'll see if I can get a better shot of the whole colony in my tank this weekend.

I think I will name it a "blue/green 1st edition louey monster" and start taking orders for the next 5 years .

Here's a picture I took of my colony tonight.

The picture doesn't really show the color well at all.

I haven't really tried to figure out how to get good pics in the new tank with the 15K XM's.

I also have alot of stuff blowing around in the tank due to the flow that make getting a good shot tough.
