Thyis picture is a frag of Acropora Prostrata that I picked up last week was well. I believe this is also an ORA frag.

It actually has blue tips, but it is so bushy now that you can't really see the color of the tips.

This piece of Acropora is not new. In fact, I thought it had been completely consumed by all of the monti caps that were in my old 75G. When I broke the monti's out of that tank I found the upper tips of this colony with a little bit of color. I broke of that tips and now have it in my 300G.

It was a really light color of lime green when I first bought it a few years ago.

I hope to nurse it back to health.

I'm pretty sure that your "Indo Purple Tip" is a Miami Orchid stag. ORA originally got that coral from one of my monther colonies years ago.

The plug it's mounted on looks like an ORA plug as well.

Hope this helps.

Cool Fragguy.

Must be nice seeing you frags show up all over the place a few years later.

Yeah, this is the same famous fragguy I mentioned the other day as the original source of my "leng-syish" cap.

Louey, Yes it's good to see that coral get it's deserved attention. It is a sweet coral.

DanConnor, glad to see that you got a piece of the Leng Sy Like monti. That's another very nice coral.

Here's another frag I picked up at the LFS yesterday. I came from a colony that one of his customers brought in because it wasn't doing well in there tank. I was basically covered in slime algea all around the base and the rock it was attached to. I have been keeping an eye on this coral for at least two months. It started showing good growth and it also had surprisingly blue tips, though my pictures doesn't show the blue very well.

LFS said it is a stag. That's all I know about it.

just curous Louey,

how much did you spend on those frags... I am looking to get some frags but am a little leary on who to buy from and how to stock them in my tank. I have some really huge LPS corals that I guess I will frag out myself...

The one I just posted was $35.

The others were $40 - $45.
