yeah you should know this email by now.

i just got my pumpes turned on and the water running throu my bulkhead causes the back of the tank to flex in and out... i know you say you only warrentee for manufacturing defects blablabla not matirial stuff blablabla. well just so you know. you are using to thin of acrilic. so i call that your problom not the matilials. so if it does break you are warned that you WILL NOT beable to cover your ass's with "oh its in the acrilic its not our fault" you WILL pay for all danmages and you WILL pay for new properly made tank...

seems like the back dosnt bow as much as the front does... so there goes that bullshit you said to me about "oh it has to bow for streangth." so far everyone who has seen my tank says i should just drain it and return it. and you know what. i mmostlikely would but im not about to pay shipping.. or pack it my self..

Well don't take this the wrong way, but run that letter through a spell checker AND get someone else to proof read it for you. I know it seems petty but a letter of displeasure really tends to hold a bit more weight when things are spelled correctly, etc (especially if you spell the product in question "acrylic" correctly ;)). Also if you want something done, ie some sort of refund/replacement, leave out all insults and curse words, save that for the second letter if they still don't give you the run around.

But if it's not the first letter, feel free to let the F-bombs fly, and instead of threatening with a family lawyer, actually get a family lawyer to draw up an offical document to send, having an envelope and letterhead that shows it's from a lawfirm/lawyer helps too.

Ime with Sfsfysicks, speeling and gramerr does mak peeple credit or discredit yur letter! Lighten up on the F-bombs @ 1st but absolutely let them fly on the second "go-round"!

BTW, the only tank I have left is a temp. tank I have setup in a small rolling ice chest. four zebra hermits and several polyps all of which have been living in my powerless, gutted, roofless home for over 7 weeks!

... this has been goin on for months.. >>>>>>TENECOR<<<<< was gonna send a local represenitive out to inspect the bubbles in the seams but the guy never called... the bowing they first tell me is from the heat that it was in while in my gradge for a month ( 90 degrees and down) yeah like 90 degrtees hurts a tank after its been in a truck at 120 degrees..
then they tell me it bows cause if it didnt it wouldent hold water.. ( back dosnt bend tho... odd) i think that after seeing the back bending i am going to just get out of this hobby and stare at my dads fresh water and my friends nanoreef...
the acrylic is sooooooooooo thin not even half an inch... (60 by 24 by 24 tank)

i havent said any laywer stuff to them yet ...

if this tank breaks and ruins anyhting they will pay for it if not im going to there office with a garden hose and will spray there computers and cutting machines... "this is what happened in my house"

i get a kick out of it when i question the quality they say well we have a lot of our tanks in hotels and stuff. its like so what... i left my gum in a lot of hotels whats your point... of cousrse the ppl that have custom tanks get better quality.. also the tanks theat are in public areas are advertisments in a way ofcourse more work goes into them.. like mcdonalds.. that hamburger got a lot of work put into it cause its for public display.. you think they will do that for some one who isnt showing it off ofcourse not.

i am literaly going crazy with this everything els e i have is great...

Hey man,,,, F getting out of the hobby, F Tenecor..... Get yourself a good-old fashion glass tank and fix it up so you can get the color and excitement of a saltwater tank. Trust me, I have been classified as "Hot-headed" on a good day. F the people that try to F you!~~~! Get your money back and try again. DUDE - I have the reminents of a 75 gallon reef in a ice-chest!!!! lolol !!!!

It is not in the best interest of you and this commumity to post a message in such a tone. Words such as "see you in court" usually does not get you far. Personally, I will say this even if the very same company did the identical thing to me. Constructive critiicism is what the community needs.

I am glad to hear informative experience, both bad and good, from any body. Sometimes it is difficult to leave out any personal opinion, especially when you are emotional with certain issue. But try to make it something that everyone can learn from in a positive way.

I deal with customers all day long. The guest that has been screwed over and has gotten no where with 2 or 3 other stores before they get to me has every right to be mad. The ones that swear and threaten, just get to keep doing it. Those that should, but don't get the red carpet, BIG TIME

Agreed. Make mention of a lawyer and you're going to get zero customer service from them. Make threats and you may get police knocking on your door. :D

Rob Top is 100% correct. The customer that is polite and professional will get the best customer service.

Sometimes that is NOT the case. The meek and mild mannered customer may get screwed just because the owners/employees know that he is not going to make a fuss. Sometimes people do need to be yelled at, not threatened, but just some noise to let them know that you mean business. As far as "See you in court", most large businesses have plenty of $$$$ which means they already have lawyers on hand for such threats and most lawyers are not scared of anything.

1 guest in my store that says nothing to be, tells 5-10 friends. In my book those that politly complain get the best service. And that is how I have trained every manager I have ever had work for me. It wasn't always that way. Years ago I yelled back at a customer. In no time my district manager made me call this person back and appoligise. I don't like the taste of crow!

did u read the part about this has been going on for months...
i started nice and accdepted there lame reasons for the things i was complaining about them saying " its normal" and now i know all they did was feed me lies


think the tenecor stand can support a glass tank?
the thing dosnt even have a nail or a screw insite ( except the ones holding on the doors)


im gonna have to wait till monday to hear back from them.
it seems the rob guy over there wants to help but not much he can do... oh wait thats called acting...

any recomendations for glass tanks.
i have several smaller AGA tanks but they all have defects.. the glass is bent in on the sides ( dosnt line up with the other pane of glass not literaly bent..) there not even close to being squared corners its all like crooked and lopsided.

aquaculture brand is only one i have never had probloms with but i heard not to trust them

somthing i learned from my father. only put up with the cr** 3 times then raise hell

good memories of the days when i wasa in stores with him lmao

ups made a mistake once and didnt delive a package when they said we went there to the local centerplace and were there till 2 am as we made them dig throu all there trucks. .. now we didnt like being there but trust me neither did they


and as for me 'raising hell' iv been nice past 20 or so emails / calls

but seriusly stay away from this company. i cant belive some one on rc actualy recomended them to me.

if i had them remake the tank id ask for 1 inch think acrilic.. and im almost sure i could get them to do that. definitly prefer them to refund tho

when i first complained i told them i saw bad reviews lately on RC . they said that the whole point of that site is to complain.. yeah about there products of course ppl will complain

anyways just finished putting up huricane shutters even tho i dont think we will get much wind ( ftlauderdale area) actualy more like right on the everglades.. literaly its my back yard.. oh i saw a panther several times when i first moved in... apparently there are only 8 wild ones left
