I want to put a penductor on the end of a loc line hose. Both are black. Loc line doesn't make a female end and my penductors are male. I needed to use a threaded coupling to join them. It would look better if all three were black.

Anybody know where to get black PVC fittings?

Thanks!

Ah, you have a female penductor (or eductor). Mine has male threads.

It's odd that your double loc line connector is grey. That sucks. Mine is black.

I guess a grey schedule 80 fitting wouldn't look to bad. They are pretty dark grey. A lot darker than your double loc line connector. My Google search yielded no black PVC fittings.

Hey Bryan. Have you ever tried to seperate Loc Line pipe? I need to remove the nozzels so that I can install the double fitting. Do they come apart easily, or is there a trick to it?

I've never been able to find black PVC fittings, only white, clear, or gray. FWIW GARF's site had talked about dying it with RIT. They say its harmless to reef life. I never had the nerve to try it though. There is a tool made for seperating locline I think.

lockline is easy to take apart.. just a little force is all. bend the piece down till it bends no more and then with some muscle pop it out...

Louey, that piece on the right.. use two of them and get a threaded coupling... it will make the piece longer but no funky glueing or anything...

It tends to separate when i don't want it too.....

they aren't my fittings, I think I found that pic using Google

You should just bend them as far as they will go and then pop them apart, they went fairly easily for me..
