coralife aqualight pro question

hi,
will the aqualight pro give as nice color in my 75 gallon as t5`s with actinics?

any reviews on the aqualight pro?

I am looking at the 2x150 watt model

I have the three foot model, I absolutely love it. No complaints at all. However, I will be changing out the 10,000K MH bulb to a 14,000K MH Phoenix bulb. Your tank will most definitely be brighter.

what reason for the phoenix bulb?

do you not like the color the bulbs it came with give?

never thought of that,different bulbs.

I want to simulate the reef @ 15-20 feet, not 0-10 feet. I opt for a bluer toned bulb.

FWIW, I think going with the Phoenix lamp is fine, but I don't think it accurately simulates any underwater light field found in nature.
Neither do most of the other lights we use in the hobby - fortunately corals are very adaptable and don't seem to mind!

Well I know exactly what you're saying, but, you know what I'm sayin' right? (deeper water is bluer).

I have the 24" with one 150w MH, on my 15gal, been on a year no malfunctions yet. I changed my bulb as well to a 14k because I prefer a more blue bulb.
