flow question for 75 gallon reef

I have a seio 820,an aquaclear 275 gph and a fluval fx5 (925 gph)
for flow in my 75 gallon.

I am considering ditching the fluval as my live rock is doing well or should I run it without media for the extra flow?

for what I get for it I could get another seio but maybe the water volume it holds may be good also

Hey Gerry, :welcome:

If it were me, I'd ditch the fluval and buy the other Seio. The Fluval holds such little volume as to have little impact on the stability of the system. The only reason to keep it is if you need to run phosorb or activated carbon.
