Clean-Up 200 Protein Skimmer

Looks pretty nice.... I have a 125 gallon FOWLR but am starting to get it setup to become a reef tank. My skimmer right now is a very cheap one I got for free so been looking to upgrade it. I can get this skimmer for pretty cheap. If its crap I am looking at the Red Sea Berlin Turbo XL Skimmer as my second choice.

Looks like too much work to get the hight stable.

Do you have a sump?

Stay away from Berlin skimmers. I had a Berlin Turbo and it was a piece of junk IMO.

I have a sump, was probably just going to stick this in the sump and hook like a mag 7 to it.

Won Brothers are known for making cheap bottom end products. With that being said it is not that difficult to make a skimmer that works, and the pump will make a world of difference.

I looked at those for some time on e-bay while I was working my way through what skimmer to go with. Decided that the bottom line for us in this hobby is cheap stuff costs more in the end as you have to replace it later. Think about it, how many people by sea clones and skilters just to replace them later. Not saying this skimmer is that bad, but quality (cost) counts. Now unlike buff I had really good experinces with the Belins, but agreee based on reviews that the asm's are great skimmers.
