I thought you all might be interested in seeing the progress of my move. Many of you dont know but I relocated from Mass to FLA and a few months later, thanks to JP, I had my LTA and Tomatoe clown shipped down after I had a tank set up for them waiting. Along with those two I also had a few other items shipped down, some LR but the tank is primarily for the LTA and clown. anyway...

The tank has been up for 3 months and the animals in there for only 2. You can see a definite increase in growth in the LTA. In the 11 years I've had the LTA, he's made it through a lot. I think this is the most he's been through since I purchased him. When he left Connecticut, he was i nthe dark, looking for more light as the 400w bulb ihad was close to 2 years old, and had almost completely bleached. He did this once before about 8 years ago when I moved from NO Flours to VHO's without acclimation (stupid of me i know), but once the MH went on the tank a year later he reached a max size of about 19-20". When he arrived he was smaller than a CD.

The night they arrived.

The whole tank a week later.

The anemone now, has grown 2-3 times its size in 2 months. Has fully colored back to its normal color under the new 400w Iwasaki. Funny thing actually, I shouldve grabbed a photo of it, he actually colored up have the disc before anything else. Almost a perfect line across, half brownish/purplish, half flourescent green yellow pink etc.

a stylophora frag I purchased from one of the best frag shops I've seen in the 12 years ive been in the hobby. Not sure if I can promote a shop so I wont.

A current shot of the entire tank. A bit messy but if any of you know me at all, I like a messy tank. I like the algea's and the pods etc.

Looks like Padina sp., an algae.

yeah its padina. It just started growing there so I left it. Its all over the fiji rock I acquired as well as a bunch of sargasm (sp?).

The Anemone is 11 years old but the clown is 12 :)

I wish I had a pic of her when she still had three stripes!
