well i placed some soft plastic netting and some algae scrubber wool inside the coral and placed it against the tank wall so i could see into the gap to check the pod population, may not be very attractive seing the wool and netting in there, but I want to beable to check on the population without disturbing the breeding grounds.
I tried to make it mandarin proof as much as possible, my worry is my tank is 90 litres (20/25 gal), should i set up another copepod breeding ground somewhere else? , this current station is fairly large, i can fit half my fist into the gap , and i filled up the larger entry gaps with algae scrubber wool so the mandarin couldnt squeeze through or suck the pods out.
