I have a pair of tank bred false percs that were aquired as juveniles and seem to have paired off, one growing significantly larger than the other. They now seem to host in my mushrooms but don't stick together as much as they used to. The larger one recently got a clean, horizontal tear in her back fin, and seems to be twictching around in the rock/mushrooms like crazy. Do you think she's sick, bored, or ready to mate? The shrimp, corals, and yellow tang all seem happy and healthy with no readible nitrates and all water parameters extremely conditions stable.

Thanks
Sawyer

How old are they and how plump?

This is my female just before spawning

Twitching around in whatever they are hosting in sounds like typical clown fish behavior to me! I think usually the male does it more, but I have seen my female twitch at him too.
