Hey there everyone,
I've been thinking of adding a new fish to my 24g. It has been up and running just over 6 months with a percula clown as my first addition, and then an orchid dottyback. I have a few softies and a large stony.
I purchased a twin spot goby about a month ago but my orchid was too aggressive with him. The goby didn't make it in the end, and I have a feeling the orchid was to blame as I saw her take a few jabs at him.
With the orchid being territorial, I am now faced with the conundrum of how to add another fish. I don't have a second marine tank to put her in temporarily. And I would rather not reposition my rockwork to reset the lines of territory.
So I'm wondering what kind of fish would be appropriate to add. Assuming there are any at this stage for such a small tank. The twin spot goby was a peaceful guy, so if I added another semi-aggresive would this counter the orchid aggresiveness?
Any thoughts would be well received.
