Can I keep a heater in my CPR BakPak?

Hey all!

I was wondering if there'd be any problem keeping my heater in the CPR BakPak HOB skimmer? I have a Medusa controller controlling it, so it won't be using it's own temp sensors (in case the water in the skimmer gets to be a different temp than the tank ). Anyone see any problems with that? Just curious... trying to keep the heater out of the tank just in case my mantis decides he doesn't like it.

I think the bakpak is a great place to keep a heater.

As long as it is not right up against the acrylic. It could melt or warp it.

Been there, done that..worked fine. No warping or melting.

I'm a little late joining the party, but I've had my Won Pro in my BakPak for 6 months with no problems.
