All,

I am in the process of setting up an older 46 bow that I bought back from a coworker (i sold it to him after a break-up).....so tank was cheap and I had a lot of the equipment.

The tank is only about 4 months old, but seems to be coming along nicely (minus some minor green hair algae).

The breakdown is:
20 gallon tall sump with:
-Berlin Turbo Skimmer (for 250 gallon)
-Argonite sandbed
2.5 gallon overtank refugium
250 watt 15K MU

So far, most of the critters seem to happy. My nitrates tend to float around 20 ppm - pretty good cosidering how heavily I tend to feed. There is a pair of Clark's and green chromis in there as well.

I obviously still need to work through power delivery issues......

I have a 46 as well. Kind of a cool tank to have, I think when I upgrade I will keep the 46 for a puffer tank. I see a hydrometer in the forground of pic 2, you will want to invest the extra 40 in a refractometer from ebay like I just did. Check out the thread about hydrometers I have running on the forum for the explanation. Nice setup. I have MH pendants on mine as well. Are you just going to have softies in there? Your stand is a hell of a lot better than mine. I got my setup used pretty cheap and it came with the crappy bookshelf stand. It ahs book shelfs on either side of the main compartment. I only have room for a 10 gal sump that actually doesn't fit so I had to take the door off for it to fit lol. It is ghettofabulous.
