i have several colonies of ricordea growing on a some sort of coral skeleton, and somehow it got knocked over, and the skeleton broke right in the middle of one of the ricordea mushrooms. it secreted a bit of mucuos. i know that ricordea can be propagated by slicing them in half, so i'm thinking that the little guy will be alright. any thoughts? should i slice him in two, and finish the job, remove him from the tank, let him be? what do you think?

If you leave it alone, it will probably split on its own along the fracture line (if the Ricordea's tissue was damaged). You can cut it if you'd like, but it's slightly more risky.
