When I purchased my rodi it wasn't equipted with a flush valve. I ordered one about a year ago and finnally got around to installing it. Well in that year that it has been sitting around, I lost the instructions. I know that it is intended to bypass the flow restrictor. So I installed it the way that seem correct to me. My question is should my DI unit fill up when I bypass the flow restrictor? Probably a really stupid question but I need to ask anyway

No, it should go straight to the drain. If the flush water go to your DI, it will be out of capacity in a few gallons.
