I picked up this anenome at the LFS that was advertised as a hawaiian pink tip anenome. I am doubtful that is what it is with the green tips and all. The stalk (?) is a bright red, but the tentacles are clear with bright green tips. Anyone know the ID? TIA

Same genus and probably same species as the "pink tp". Condylactis sp.

Looks like a condy. Far from Hawaii. They come from the caribbean, hence the name Hatian Anemone. Condylactis.sp.

Thanks, guess I will be returning him for a store credit. Trying to get my clowns to host in something other than my zoas and not having much luck. I currently have all my zoas in the tank covered in wedding veil so they can't get to them, but they won't go to a condy at all as far as I know. I will have to wait until a bubble tip comes in. They seem to be very hard to find around here lately.
