Sarcophyton placement

I was wondering where you are placing your sarc's for best PE and growth? I have a Tyree LE green long polyp Sarc that is growing s l o w. I have had it near the top of my reef in medium flow, and it doubled in size in 6 months (now its 1/2" !)

i just moved it to the sandbed, it is getting more flow, less light. It is getting better PE on the leeward side of the flow. the side that gets more direct flow is barely extended. SOO where can I put it to get best of both worlds? Obvious answer is mid-reef. Where are yours?

I have them all over my reef; I would guess for a sps reef medium flow. Or, somewhat more flow than a typical sarc. They are very slow growers however- I haven't found much you can do about that. Once they get to 3 or 4 inches they will start to drop frags spontaneously; at least mine doo.
