Is 5 days too short a time to expect a new edition of porites to expand its polyps. Its in a hi flow and light area. water perams: sg: 1025 ph: 8.1-2
temp: 78-80 cal: 400 phos: 0 nitrate: 0 ammonia: 0 nitrite: 0.

I'd move to to another area and see if it makes a difference.

And no, it shouldn't take five days for any coral to show good polyp extension IMO.

what devise did you use to measure SG?
and what brand testkits did you use for your water peramiters?

thanks guys its looking better now I have some areas of polyp expansion and its got a cool addition I noticed a christmas tree worm that is now coming out of a hole in it!
