Hi all,

I'm strongly considering purchasing this calcium reactor from someone. Would just like to know if anyone's had experience with it, or has heard anything about them.

TIA

I have not heard much about them. Deltec deos make some nice stuff.

I just got a Geosreef reactor. It is constructed extremely well and easy to set up.

I have a Deltec PF601 on the way (backordered). I will know more about its operation in about 3 weeks. I like its reverse flow design and the built-in effluent pH probe holder. One of the main reasons I got a Deltec is because their ca reactors have very small footprints. I know size is a concern for you.

FYI: I believe Deltec has recently redesigned their ca reactors (e.g. from PF600 to PF601). They've improved the way you disassemble the top and got rid of the gas collector since they found that less then 0.7% of CO2 was being wasted. The PF500 is probably the PF501 now.
