Harlequins

I now have two Harlequin shrimps, before when i only had one..i wud feed it one leg of a cc star a week....now that I have two should I feed two legs or just thrown in a whole cc star for the month...:scratch:

For the reefers who have two harley's...how much do you usually feed and how often....?

What I have read, in the ocean they hunt in their pairs and as soon as they find a star they feast on it for a month and them the hunt begins again. Its a preatty hungry shrimp. it will eat when ever food is available.

I have 2 harlequins. Every other week I toss in a starfish. They appear to be fat and happy.

WHen I toss the starfish in, if I dont see them grab it within a few minutes I toss it into the sump and try again a few days later.

Oh ok...the one I just got from you was sharing a leg of a star with the one i had....just wanted to know for sure if feeding one star a month will be sufficient...
