This is a new macroalgae that has started growing in place of the last one I posted questions about. I think the last time I pulled the other algae I must of got every little bit cause it hasn't grown back yet.

Any ideas what it is?

And here is a cute little guy, I have no idea what it is, but it has gotten a lot bigger over the last year. Its now the size of a nickle. For months it was no bigger than a pencil eraser.

This picture has two unknowns in it, one is the fan thing, must be some sort of tubeworm I am guessing. I thought it was cool looking.

The second is in the same pic, there are small lime green things growing. No, not the hair algae, they are shaped like ovals connected together. Very hard to photograph in the lawn I am growing....

And since I haven't posted any pics of my tank in forever here is one.

Nothing much, and I have tons of hair algae, but I still like looking at it.

The knuckleflow is still chugging away in the background. Working exactly as advertized although you can't get a ton of flow through it without having a ton of noise....

Thanks Dawg...

Halimedia huh?

It never grows any bigger so I think somebody is munching on it.

FWIW..if it's not getting eaten, Halimeda uses calcium to grow so it may not be getting enough to get really large. I know some people don't like it because it pulls calcium out of the water.

The type of hali you have will stays small. They don't get any bigger than that, but will grow to a long branched chain.

Is this red worm a baby Cocoworm? it kinda looks like one, with the dual cones of feathers?

First algae might be Halymenia sp. possibly - is it slippery / slimy to the touch?

Halimeda from 3rd pic are nice but they are a calcerous algae and will need some supplementation to keep growth / health. If you are keeping alk and Ca in line shoudl be no problem but I have also had large colonies 'crash' or possibly go sexual with little warning.
