First spring with a 145g display, 75g basement sump and lights include 2x250w MH 6" from water surface in a closed hood. Now that things are warming up finding tank is getting up to 84°. Already have a fan blowing up from basement into the hood and will be putting a fan on the sump but thinking of pumping water from the sump to a outdoors loop.

Using a March 6 series on the sump return and with head can pump ~2000gpm through display though currently valved back to ~1000gpm. Already have a tee and valve on the output of the pump so could easily divert some flow or have a seperate pump, pump water from the sump though a loop of poly tubing buried outside then return back to sump.

Wonder if I could get any useful cooling with say 50' of 1/2" tubing buried 3' below grade circulating maybe 500gpm?

Probably would get some cooling.

I'm not certain, but I think you'd want slow flow throught the underground tubing. Also, it needs to be below the frost line so it doesn't freeze in the winter.
