I have heard a little about theses beds useds in refugium style sumps. Just wanted to see if anyone knows about them and how they work. Also if they are worth the effort.
The marine Fish and Reef annual magazine from last winter had an article on the idea. Seemed like an unnecessary complication to me and I struck it from my memory. Perhaps someone else will know more...
