Final Set-Up Mistakes

Finally getting things moved inside this week with my new reef system! What are some things that you guys have done on your final setups that you wish you hadn't or things you didn't do that you wish you had ??

Just trying to avoid making some stupid mistakes.

dude, i've been trying to come up with ideas but haven't thought of any other then plumbing advice which you seem familiar with already Your test run in the garage looked great.

Enough electric outlets near the tank.
Place to hide all the equipment - Reactors, etc.

Make sure to do a couple of power outage tests by turning everything off. But I'm sure you already did that in the garage. But hey, do it again!

As far as plumbing i think I have it covered... just have to remember the syphon hole in the pump return.

ONE QUESTION. How do you guys connect your return pump so that you can remove it? I bought a PVC union.. but discovered it reallllly shrinks the size of the flow down.

What do do?

OH and youd all be proud, I successfully installed a ground fault outlet to run my stuff so i dont get ZAPPED!
