Hi all....

I was planning on waiting for the vortech's to take off but it seems as if we will never see them. at $300+/piece it is a little costly for something i might never see.

So I saw these wavysea thingy's they look like a compact seaswirl with some controller jobber. Anyone have one of these?

I was thinking of plumbing a closed loop with two of these....

or should i wait for teh vortechs.....

opinions please....

I'm sure the wavy sea is noce, but they are kind of pricy. Unless you object to a power head a stream or a couple of sieo's would probably be the quickest and simplest way to go.

They give you different kinds of flow. WS give you a 'jet' flow that moves while the vortechs give you a more dispersed flow that doesn't move.

If it were me, I would wait for the vortechs.

In the mean time just get a big beefy SEIO pump (2600 model is nice) tunze level of flow at a fraction of the price. I found out the hard way that "waiting" to buy more pumps/circulation can actually turn out to bite you in the butt in the long haul as nutrients can start to accumulate where you don't want them while you're trying to figure out what to do next.

...and I would add a sieo for circulation, but I forgot to write that before Mike posted. Really! :D
