What's the BEST 250Watt DE 14k bulb on HQI ballast?

Time for new bulbs! the latest and greatest keeps on changing. Who makes the best looking 250 watt bulb that yields highest par values? I'm not running any VHO or actinic supplementation anymore.

My lighting system consists of five (5) HQI DE pendants run across a six foot 180 gallon tank. I have number 1,3,5 on from morning till night and 2,4 come on for a few hours during the day.

I picked the Phoenix for par. However, eight months in I think they are really losing intensity. Would be interested to know if this is common.

I just got a Phoenix 14kK, I'm thinking that it doesn't have a very great PAR value. You maybe want to go with some XMs or similar.

The new Ushio 14K DEs are reported to have good PAR although I haven't actually seen any test results.
The word is that they are basically white w/slight blue tint so not sure how'd you'd like em without actinic...

I am looking for 250de as well. I am considering the reeflux or the ushio in 10k flavor on both. Let me know if you here anything untoward about either of them. Thanks.
